Founder, Qwibie

Perry Price is the founder of Qwibie, where he works on the problem of governance continuity: how boards and governing bodies keep the reasoning behind their decisions intact as the people around the table change.

What I write about

Qwibie exists because most governing bodies can reproduce what they decided and almost none can reproduce why. Minutes record the vote. They rarely record the alternatives that were weighed, the concern a director raised, or the constraint that made one option the only workable one. That reasoning is what a successor board needs and what an auditor asks for, and it is the first thing lost when membership turns over or a platform is replaced.

Most of what I publish here works through the practical side of that problem: what belongs in a defensible record, what survives a migration, what a new director can reconstruct without calling someone who was in the room.

  • Board governance
  • Institutional memory
  • Governance continuity
  • Fiduciary oversight
